Church of Scientology

Welcome to the National Church of Scientology Spain in Madrid.

It is with great pride we serve this capital city from our home in the legendary Quarter of the Letters—the very streets from which such cultural luminaries as Miguel de Cervantes, Diego Velázquez and Lope de Vega inspired the world. It was also in the neighboring Ateneo that Spain’s greatest thinkers, writers and artists gathered in the indomitable spirit of free thought and the search for knowledge and freedom. Our Church stands in full representation of those ideals, as a place where one can find the knowledge and spiritual freedom offered in Scientology.

Our Church further realizes Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard’s vision that all Scientology Churches become what he termed Ideal Organizations (Orgs). Ideal Orgs not only provide the ideal facilities to service Scientologists on their ascent to higher states of spiritual awareness and freedom, but they are also designed to serve as a home for the whole community and a meeting ground of cooperative effort to uplift people of all denominations.

In that regard, we look forward to working together with individuals and groups of every faith and from every province who are dedicated to our mutual dream of a drug-free, crime-free and flourishing future for all.

Our doors are open. Our help is yours.

In September 2004, the National Church of Scientology opened in the heart of Madrid, with 6,000 assembling to celebrate the new Church. Once the seat of religious suppression, Spain now welcomed Scientology to the nation, with dignitaries from religion, law and human rights all proclaiming Scientology as the hope for their country.
